Outlines for a WikiHow Project
Three Outlines
There are three topics for this assignment:
- How to make an authentic Italian crepe
- How to get around writers block
- How to put your phone down and keep it that way
Most likely it will be the first topic that gets chosen for this assignment, since it is the most useful and easiest to hit the word count with. The first step would be what tools/items you will need, second is ingredients. The third step would involve how to get started such as oiling your pan and what temperature to set your stove to. Obviously everyone doesn't have the same stove so I'd suggest something like just around a little less than half of your stoves max temperature, so around 4 if its numbered between 1 and 10. If there is ever a time where the word requirement isn't hit, then adding additional information about "if this happens" or "If you mess up" to try and help when things go wrong for the people following the guide will help hit that word count.
For the second topic of how to get around writers block, there are a number of ways to get this done. Now this isn't a terribly original idea since it's a common problem and there are probably a lot of guides for solving this. However, personal tips and tricks that aren't the common solutions to writers block might just be the answer that other writers need. There are so many out there but they don't always help, so posting a how to get around writers block with some abstract ways of dealing with it that aren't like other ways might be very useful to make.
Finally we have the how to not be a teenager in 2020 guide. Simple, important, but not too much to write about. Nobody truly has the solution to this, sort of like writers block. Everyone can suggest techniques but they might not work, so going step by step on how to do one of the ways and then continue into alternative steps if the first technique doesn't work. Furthermore, let's ignore the fact that we need to use our phones to look up a wikiHow to stop using our phones...
